Ana Lidia  joined VIDA when she was 19 years old. She had never gone to school before, as her family struggled to find a school that could accommodate her learning needs. Now, thanks to VIDA, children with disabilities in the community of San Miguel Dueñas can come to school, make friends, learn and develop at their own pace in a supportive environment. Our school is unique because ALL students regularly interact with other students with and without disabilities, learning to collaborate and fostering a culture of inclusiveness in our community.

We can now offer younger students like Genesis access to high-quality inclusive education from an early age! Ana Lidia and Genesis have become friends in the classroom!
